Nugss committees are a great way to get involved in nugss and we are always looking for people. If you would like to get involved in any of the committees, drop by the office and pick up and information package. You can also contact nugss-social@unbc.ca.

Requirements for Students to be on Senate Committees

In order to serve as a student member on Senate Committees, the following criteria must be met:

1. Be a student in good standing (a student who is in "good standing" is a student who is not on academic probation, does not owe the University monies in excess of $100.00, and is a member of their the Northern Undergraduate Student Society, the Northern British Columbia Graduate Students' Society or T'SEBA Student Society);
2. Be an undergraduate student registered in at least one course in the semester in which a vacancy arises;
3. Be registered in at least one course in each of two previous semesters in which a vacancy arises; or
4. Be registered in a co-op work term in the semester in which a vacancy arises; or
5. Be a graduate student who is currently enrolled as a full-time or part-time student in a program leading to a graduate degree.
